Measuring blood flow with ultrasound
Age suitable for: All ages
Ultrasound can be used to look into your body and also to measure blood flow. This display will explain how some of this medical technology works and illustrate this using a Doppler ultrasound probe and a rig that pumps water through tubes to simulate the blood flow. Hear the blood flow, and see what happens as your body adapts to changing demands.
